William Lai, AIA, LEED AP – Principal of Dynamica Architecture, is the son of a well-known developer. Having grown up around construction projects, William was exposed to various facets of the industry. In short, construction and design fascinated him. This fascination wasn’t merely limited to his boyhood imagination; his interests led him to enroll in Design and Architecture Senior High School in Miami. William approaches architecture with respect for both the client’s wishes and the property’s unique characteristics. The key is starting a two-way dialogue, asking the right questions and truly listening, to ensure an accurate understanding of what each client is looking for.“It’s all about working with the client as a team”, William explains.
Exchanging ideas, brainstorming, and communicating effectively are important components to the process as are maximizing efficiency and utilizing the site to its fullest advantage.
This approach, coupled with William’s desire to produce the best product possible, has been a defining force throughout William Lai’s architectural career as the Principal of Dynamica Architecture.
